Nowadays, photo editing software is essential to everyone. Especially if you own a website or a blog. There would be time when you want to display pictures of your favourites on your blog, but it will be better if you could add some personality to it. Your website URL, for example?
For the most simple usage, I love to use MS Photo Editor which came bundled with MS Office. However, if you do not installed your own MS Office, the technician always leave out this software. MS Photo Editor is quite good to resize, crop and rotate pictures. However, I think the limitation is up to that. You can only resize, crop and rotate pictures. There is some function to give effects to the pictures like sharpen, soften, posterize etc.. It wasn’t really beautiful..
Then for more advanced user, they use Adobe Photo Shop. This come with more function as it is targeted to the advance user. It has multilayer function, which you can explore more things with it. You can make your photo more personal by adding some words to it. I am not really good to use this software. It confused me.. Afterall, I am not a photo master, though I love to take pictures. The not so good part of this software is you have to buy the license to use it
FREE Photo Editing Software
Usually I use Adobe Photo Shop or Adobe Illustrator to add personality to my pictures. But last week, my Adobe Photo Shop stop functioning. I am not sure why, but when I opened it, it loading then it closing down. Then, I saw John’s post on a FREE photo editing software, that he said as good as Adobe Photo Shop. I downloaded it and installed it.
It has the multi-layer function and all other function like Adobe Photo Shop. Maybe the effect tools are little less than Adobe Photo Shop but it is more than enough for an amateur like me. The best part? It’s FREE. I think you should give it a try. Download it NOW!

thanks for a great info. I love trying new photo/graphic editor, and paint.net is worth trying
