An! An! An!
I just watched the Sifu and Tongga movie tonight. Actually I watched it just for the sake of seeing Nabil in action.. Hehehe..
All in all, it’s a hillarious movie, I had a fun night. Unstoppable laughing that my tears also came out. In my opinion, Sifu and Tongga is a light comedy movie with no message. It just want to make the audience laugh and forget all about their problem.
Well, that’s sound like it, the director is Prof Razak Mohaideen, what do you expect? All his movies were liked that.
Anyway, an! an! an!
Guide To Purchase Home Theatre Set
Recently, my husband wanted to have a home theatre set at home. So, we started to shop around. We went to examine a few types of home theatre set and decide what feature we want.
Basically, this is what ‘must have’ features for us:
- USB slot
- Karaoke function with 2 mic
- Good sound
And of course, preferably with HDMI, to suit my LG Scarlet TV.. After looking around, we fell in love with a LG model. I think the model name is HT353 and you can see the description on this page: LG Home Thetre HT353.
Guide to purchase LG home theatre set at TESCO:
- Ask the technician whether they have the set in stock or not.
- Usually, if your choice of product is the cheapest product on offer, they don’t have the stock and they will ask you to choose another product with higher price.
- In my case, I wouldn’t want another product because none of the product they offered to me have the similar features as I wanted.
- The technician will tell you that they’ve already order the product and it will be available by certain day/ dates and asks you to come back on that day.
- So, you come again on that specific day to purchase your dream product. Unfortunately, that particular technician who promised to you that the product will be available on that day is not available – rest day, or lunch or whatever. So you have to talk to another technician.
- The new technician will tell you that the product is out of stock. When you tell them that another technician promised you that the product will available today, the new technician (let’s call him Technician B) will ask you who is the hell that technician who made that promised?
- Unfortunately, since TESCO is a big name in hypermarket industry, you assume that their staffs are well-trained and profesional. So, when a staff promised something to you, he represent TESCO. That supposed to make TESCO promised to you. And you never bother to remember who is the technician (What the heck? I don’t go there to make friends…)
- Even if you tell them the date and time you came to TESCO the other day, they couldn’t find out who was on duty on that particular time. I wonder why?! Aren’t they supposed to have a personnel record of who is where around the store?!
- Instead they ask you whether Technician A is male or female, tall or short, fair or dark, long hair or short hair, colour of their hair or eyes or nail.. Hehehe.. OK, that’s exaggerating.. But the funny thing is that they ask what did Technician A wore on that day? Of course Technician A wore TESCO uniform!
- Then, they say that Technician A is having lunch/ dinner. So, nobody else could clarify the matter to you. And you said, “Never mind, I wait!”.
- After 30 minutes, there is no sign of Technician A and you ask Technician B again. Technician B repeats all the questions (What is the name of Technician A)..
- Finally, when you almost lost all your patience after waiting for more than an hour, Technician B ask you to get the product from a nearby TESCO.
- So, you ask if Technician B could make a call to that nearby TESCO to ensure that product is available and in stock. Technician B tell you that he couldn’t do that and you have to make that call yourself.
- And of you go to another nearby TESCO.. Excitedly, you see that dreamed product is on the shelf. You call technician on duty (Technician C) and ask if it is available. He will says he needs to check it first.
- Unfortunately, it’s not available and Technician C asks you to get it from another nearby TESCO.
- You told him that you went to TESCO1 and it’s not available. You ask a favor from Technician C if he could contact TESCO3 and checks if that product is available. He said OK.
- Off he go to make that call from the office. After 30 minutes, he came and said, “Sorry, the office is already closed and nobody answer the phone.”
- You tell him that you will go to TESCO3 to check that product, however you wanted to know if it isn’t available can you buy the demo unit.
- Technician C says yes and assure you that everything is complete for the demo unit, including the remote control and the warranty.
- Then you go to the TESCO3…
- To your surprise, TESCO3 does have the same product displaying on shelf but with a price tag that double the price than what stated in the promo leaflet and at TESCO1 and TESCO2.
- You ask technician on duty and he confirms that the price tag is not wrong. Furthermore, the produc t is also unavailable.
- So, you went back to TESCO2 to get that demo unit.
- As always, Technician C went for dinner break and when you ask another technician available (Technician D), who tells you that you cannot purchase the demo unit.
- When you tell him that Technician C tells you that it’s all right to purchase the demo unit, Technician D asks you what is the name of Technician C.
- Then the whole process of ‘making friends with TESCO staff’ started again.
- Finally, you tell Technician D that you will lodge a report to the Ministry that TESCO make empty promises to the customer, Technician D calls the Manager on Duty.
- Manager On Duty come and tells you that he could order the product for you but you have to pay it first in full.
- After what you experience about ‘ordering thing from TESCO’ there’s no way you would want to pay first. Furthermore, TESCO couldn’t be certain on what date you will get that product.
- So, you exchange phone number with that Manager on duty and he promised to call you latest in two weeks time.
- Time flies so fast, after three weeks there’s no call from TESCO.
Guide to purchase home theatre set from COURTS:
- Ask the salesperson if that particular product in stock.
- If not, the salesperson asks you if you would like to make an order and the product will be available latest by two weeks time. He also said that in order to make an order, you need to put down some deposit (usually RM100).
- You agree and he started the paperwork.
Well, that’s it… Finally, I bought another type of LG home theatre set which double the price from the previous set. But it has the same features with advanced sound system. Read the description and pictures from this link.
Pintu Pagar
Hari tuh bleh plak berselak.
Saya pun cubalah buka. Tapi agak susah kan, sebab buka dari luar. Bukan kita boleh nampakpun selak tuh kat mana. Main raba-raba aje. Raba punya raba, saya terpegang mangga.
Dia pun keluar..
Saya ni punyalah senyum sampai ke pipi, dia buat bodoh aje.. Dia datang dekat dan bukak selak pintu tuh.. Lepas tuh, anda tahu apa dia cakap?
Saya pun apa lagi…
Lepas habis cerita, GPK Pentadbiran kata, “Memang dah banyak orang complaints. Even dah sampai ke pengetahuan jabatan. Saya pun dah banyak kali tegur. Tapi macam tuh juga!”.
Anyway, tak lama lepas tuh saya nampak GPK Pentadbiran panggil jaga tuh ke pejabat.
Pelik betul..
Oh ya, buat pengetahuan anda, jaga tuh perempuan. Dah lah saya tak pernah nampak dia meronda sekitar sekolah. Tak tahulah plak saya dalam kontrak dia skop kerja dia mungkin hanya menyatakan duduk berlegar-legar di pintu pagar utama sekolah aje. Lepas tuh main SMS/ handphone. Petang, bila semua guru dah balik bawa kereta masuk ke sekolah dan cuci kereta sendiri guna air sekolah.
Pernah sekali tuh masa bulan puasa saya balik agak lewat, hampir 6.30 petang. Anda tahu bagaimana cara dia panggil saya suruh balik?
Dia bawa masuk kereta ke perkarangan sekolah, rammed enjin dan tekan hon sekuat hati..
Saya boleh faham kalau dia mungkin tak boleh keluar selagi tak semua guru balik, atau mungkin dia nak mangga pintu pagar sekolah sebelum keluar.. Tapi kan lebih baik jika dia ronda ke seluruh kawasan sekolah dan beritahu sesiapa yang belum balik a.k.a saya untuk balik.
Hai entahlah..
Namanya Nizamuddin. Budaknya comel a.k.a. chubby.
Saya: Alamat rumah apa?
Nizamuddin: Aaaa.. Jalan Ciku…
Saya: Bukan Jalan Duku? (Sebenarnya saya dah ada alamat mereka, saja nak semak samada mereka tahu tak.)
Nizamuddin: Aaaa.. Kalau tidur kat rumah Jalan Duku.
Saya: Abis tuh, yang Jalan Ciku tuh rumah siapa?
Nizamuddin: Rumah mak saya..
Saya: Abis tuh mak tak tidur kat rumah Jalan Duku? Ayah pulak tidur mana?
Nizamuddin: Tidur..
Saya: Awak ada berapa emak ni?
Nizamuddin: Tiga, satu kat Jalan Duku, satu kat Jalan Ciku, satu kat Mersing.
Saya: Aikkkk??!!!
Kerja Ke Sekolah? Sekolah Ke Kerja?
Macam-macam budak-budak ni.. Nak gelak tak sampai hati, nak marah rasa tak patut plak. Akhirnya saya diam aje..
Anda pernah tengok rancangan Anak-Anakku oleh Aznil Haji Nawawi? Anda ingat tak budak kecik yang menari ala-ala 60-an tuh?
Waktu nak dapatkan maklumat latar belakang…
Saya: Ada berapa orang adik beradik?
Aqilah: Lima.
Saya: Siapa?
Aqilah: Haaa?!
Saya: Ada abang?
Aqilah: Ada.
Saya: Berapa?
Aqilah: Lima.
Aqilah: Ada.
Saya: Berapa?
Aqilah: Lima.
Saya pun tak pasti kenapa dia suka sangat dengan nombor 5. Apapun soalan saya kalau ia membabitkan nombor, dia akan beri jawapan “Lima.”
Seterusnya…
Saya: Abang awak kerje ke sekolah?
Aqilah: Sekolah.
Aqilah: Kerja.
Saya terus picit kepala…
Pusing Belakang!
Sekarang ni saya sedang sibuk membuat Ujian Diagnostik untuk murid-murid. Ujian ini dilaksanakan secara individu. Murid pula diberikan sekeping demi sekeping kertas soalan.
Memang payah nak paham apa dia cakap.
Nak jadi cerita, lepas dia buat muka surat depan tuh, saya cakaplah ngan dia, “OK, pusing belakang!”.
Dia pun toleh kepala ke belakang..
“Ya Allah, budak ini… Bukan awak yang pusing belakang, kertas tuh yang dipusingkan belakang…”
Hehehe.. Hilang ngantuk saya tunggu dia bagi jawapan..
Mesyuarat Vs Perbincangan
Hari ni ada Mesyuarat Panitia di sekolah. Bila sampai kat topik Program, pengerusi mesyuarat cakap lebih kurang begini:
“Sebenarnya kita kena buat Minggu Bla Bla ni, tapi saya pun tak tahu apa yang kita nak buat semasa Minggu Bla Bla ni. Jadi kita bincanglah sekarang nak buat untuk Minggu Bla Bla ni…”
Hmmm..
Itulah mesyuarat. Bagi saya juga mesyuarat mestilah “short and sweet”. Sebab itulah orang Jepun mesyuarat sambil berdiri saja..
Tapi kalau agendanya cuma sikit.. Haiiiii.. Entahlah…
Upgraded WordPress Version 2.7
I’ve upgraded wordpress to version 2.7. If you found any default, please let me know…
1st Week Of 2009
Today is the seventh day of 2009. How are you? Is everything all right in your life?
Well, if you were asking where has Cikgu Azleen missing for the past 7th day, I am not dissappearing from the internet. I am observing.. What would happened to this blog if I don’t write? How long can this blog sustained if I don’t post anything… To my surprise, though I didn’t post anything, the traffic is still good. In fact, in some days it’s received high traffic.
I hope it’s not too late to wish you happy new year and may this year and the year ahead will bring more joy, more goodness, more wealth and health to both of us.
I do remember that I should write a review of the last month book – Five People You Meet In Heaven. I’ve finished reading it and I hope you did too.. I will write that review soon, but first I would like to tell you my choice of book this month – The Secret.
It is not a story book. I guess it’s some kind of self-help book. You can get it from Popular chain of bookstores for 79.90. Quite expensive but the value of the book is much much more.. You will not regret paying that high amount of money to get this book. I almost finished reading the book, but actually you didn’t have to finish reading the book to start getting result from the book. Alternatively, I believe there is digital version of the book. You can ask Raymond from Attracting Your Goals about it.
This week is also the first week of school. I am busy screening students to enroll in the remedial class. Oh yes, that picture is me on the first day of school wearing the official school’s batik. Pretty right?
Then, about my weight-watching program. My first minigoal was on the 4th January 2009. I did weighted myself and here is the result:
Current weight: 220 pounds.
Original weight: 225 pounds.
Total loss: 5 pounds.
Not too bad huh? At last I did lost some weight.. And I lose some more weight this year. I also change some of the method/ approach this year – adapting The Secret method. Read The Secret if you want to know what is The Secret. Hehehe..
So, my five goals this year are:
- Have children – I am wishing to have twins
- Living in abundance.
- Achieve my ideal weight – 136 pounds.
- Driving Grand Livina.
- Appointed as a permanent teacher.
How about you? Wanna share your goal with me? I read about goal setting in Raymond’s blog. It’s good.
OK, got to go now. Before that, there are 13 seats left for KelasEnglish. After that 13 seats fill in, the fee will be increased..
C ya!
