First, I bought myself an OMNIA. Hehehe.. I love this phone very much. It’s more than a PDA to me. I’ve tried using a PDA before, but it doesn’t really fits me. But OMNIA? Well, in short it is like this:

Mobile phone + camera + video camera + internet + ebook + MP3 + radio + financial manager + diary + ……… so much more to list = OMNIA

Yes, you already know that I am more than satisfied with this phone.

Then, I wanted more.. I’ve explored what else OMNIA has.. I wanted to do live blogging – you know that I love travelling and exploring new things, new foods, new places.. And I wanted to share all this with you.. Well, sharing is caring..

Of course, you might be saying that I can always connect to the internet then post on this blog right. But that means more money to spend because connecting using 3G/ GPRS charge you per kb.

So, I opted for Twitter because loading twitter page on OMNIA required less kb than loading my whole blog page..

But then, Twitter give me only words… And each post limited to certain number of characters. How much can I tell you in 250 character?

So, I dig deeper into my OMNIA. I found an application called ShoZu. I am not sure what it is, so I used laptop to surf to the website..

Now, this is the answer to my dream – live blogging in easy way. I don’t want to carry my laptop everywhere.. It’s hassle you know. But OMNIA, I have to carry it everywhere because it’s my handphone and it’s light in weight and small in size.

Using ShoZu, I can send pictures with short description over the internet and post it to many sites in one click. Read more about ShoZu at their own website.

I can take pictures of whatever places, foods or things I am exploring, write the description then send it to Shozu to be posted to sites that I’ve choosen. Isn’t that easy?

First, I’ve posted it to Twitpic (post a picture over Twitter), Facebook, Friendster.. But I prefer it to be posted on my blog. Then I found out that ShoZu can post to email and wordpress can accept post from email. I tried to figure it out and set the email. But, it seems that wordpress (self hosted) does not publish.

After googling for answer, I’ve found out that I need to make adjustment to the script. Aaaahh.. I am not a good programmer and I don’t have time to mess up my blog.. hehehe..

So, I took the easier way.. I opened another blog at WordPress.Com to cater for my needs of live blogging. You can read it at http://cikguazleen.wordpress.com . Now, that’s better. I’ve picked a twitter liked theme.
