8 Facts About Me That You May Do Not Know

Hello everybody,

I am super busy woman right now.. With family, business and classes to juggle around, my hands are full at the moment.. So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you guys for visiting here and keep this blog alive..

Anyway, I was tagged by Raymond, Ktom & Blogjer to list 8 random facts about me.

The Rules:

  1. Post these rules before you give the facts.
  2. List 8 random facts about yourself.
  3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names (linking to them).
  4. Leave them a comment on their blog letting them know they’ve been tagged!

8 facts about me that you may do not know:

  • I never dream to be a teacher

If you still remember, while in primary school we have to tell the teacher about our ambition. We need to list down 3 option each year, right? Well, teacher never get into my list. Among of my favourite job at that time was reporter, lawyer and architect.

  • I’ve rejected my friend suggestion for me to be a teacher

While in form 5, I’ve had a discussion with my best friend about our future. My friend suggested me to become a teacher, she said I have the character of teacher. But I’ve told her that suggestion is completely out of mind. :D And I am not interested! Furthermore, I thought life as a teacher is boring.. I wanted to do something exciting and challenging..

  • I don’t like kids before…

Why I don’t want to be a teacher? Because I don’t like kids.. And I think kids don’t like me too.. They cried each time I hold them.. But that was before.. I began to love them when I had to be around them in school.. At first it was kind of scary things to do, but now I am eager to see them each day.. Now, I also knew that the kids cried when I hold them because they felt insecure with me - the reason? I don’t like them..

  • My first experience as a teacher in school

When I came back to Johor last year, I had difficulty finding job. Few of my friends are working as substitute teacher. Since I was desperately bored staying at home, I applied job as substitute teacher, thinking that it is only 2 months contract, and I can quit easily if I don’t like the job. Contrast to my belief since childhood, I enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge with others.

  • I am not a trained teacher

I believe many of you are not aware of this. Practically, I don’t have license to teach, which means to some people I am not fit to be called cikgu or teacher. However, since I’ve taught children around my home, my neighbours called me cikgu  And I must admit that I love it..

  • I am pursuing studies in education

As you know, currently I am studying.. While many of you thought that I am doing my master, I’ve informed that I am doing an advanced diploma. Actually I am in Kursus Perguruan Lepas Ijazah (KPLI) - pursuing Diploma in Education, majoring in remedial for BM and Maths. I guess I am quite lucky because it took me only one application to get in the course..

  • I am a choosy person when…

When we talked about career, jobs and work, I must admit that I am a choosy person.. Very choosy indeed.. The reason is quite simple: we are spending 1/3 of our life working.. So I must do something that I love and have great passion about it.. Some of my friends and family are not happy with my decision and principles. But I don’t think that bother me so much.. However, now I found something that I really love to do - sharing knowledge..

  • I often turn to food as my friend..

Now you don’t have to ask why I’ve gained weight so much.. Food is my friend.. Whenever I am sad, stress, sick, angry or any other negative feelings, I usually turn to food as my soother friend.. I know that it is a bad habit, and I am trying to get rid of it.. Instead of turning to food, I began to turn in to my laptop..

I guess that is enough 8 facts about me.. Now, I am going to find another 8 blogger from CikguAzleen community to tag them to tell us their 8 facts..

  1. Izali from I love Malaysia
  2. Roshatika from Diari Roshatika
  3. Zath from Zath
  4. RedJiwa from Fairytales
  5. Sham from Average & Simple
  6. DikMal from Blog Personal Norakmal Jasni
  7. Shueqry from Shueqry Berkata…
  8. ProFidz from Profidsteps

#Update 8/8/2007 - I was tagged on the same subject by two other bloggers: Paypal2U and Leeza Ismail.

Well, I guess many of us landed on a job that we don’t want to do.. And sometime the reward make us stay longer than we thought we could..

Yup, that’s right. Many try to adapt themselves for the sake of rewards. But that’s not good for them psychologically..

Hmmm, Lucky for you, you turn to food when your negative feelings strikes, for me, I turn to food no matter what the condition is… sad, happy, excited, disoriented, sleepy, you name it, no matter what the condition, I still turn to food. (not a good sign, huh?) :)

Well, If it doesn’t affect your health, I guess no problem.. But if it does, we just need to do something about it..
