Advertlets Domain Has Expired?

My goodness! That really make me think! Today, I had a course over at the IPG for a half day. Then, when I reached home around 4.30, I was too tired and I didn’t check the internet at all.. And tonight, I thought about checking my blog..

Suddenly, when the blog tried to load Adverlets Ads, the page was redirected to another page stating that the Advertlets.com domain had expired on 3rd January 2008. Are they real for business?

If it was somekind of personal sites, I wouldn’t think much why they can’t renew their subscription. But a company? That running online advertisement?

This certainly tarnish the image of them in my eyes. Especially after the cheque case last month. Luckily, I’ve already received my cash outs.. However, I haven’t cashed them. I should do it as soon as possible  Got what I meant?

And because of that – the redirection of this blog to another ‘expired domain’ services page – made my blog looked bad. Some of the visitors might thought that my domain has expired. The statistic dropped drastically today!

By now, I hate them  I’ve tore down their ads in this blog and would never put them back – At least for the next few years.. Huhu.. It doesn’t value very much that I would be willing to risk the image of myself.

More bloggers have blogged about this, read on:

P.S.: If your blog does the same thing – redirected to another page – go straight to your blog’s dashboard by adding /wp-admin after your URL. For example: http://www.yourblog.com/wp-admin .. Then tear down the ads in your blog’s theme. Things will be normal after that..

P.P.S.: Advertlets said that the problem are partially resolved. I don’t know how ‘partially’ would that be.
