Pertandingan Tarian Daerah Kota Tinggi 2008
Maaflah, jika anda sebenarnya menanti posting tentang blogging hari ini, saya telah menukarkannya.. Posting tentang panduan blogging akan disiarkan seperti biasa pada minggu hadapan.. InsyaAllah.. Bagaimanapun, anda masih boleh mendapatkan Pakej Kit Blogger daripada saya atau daripada SmartZul.
Ya, saya pernah beritahu anda kan bahawa saya sangat meminati seni persembahan. Salah satu daripadanya adalah tarian, tak kiralah samada ianya tarian melayu atau tarian barat.
Saya juga pernah tunjukkan pada anda video kumpulan tarian saya pada persembahan pertama kan? Dan saya ada beritahu anda bahawa kumpulan kami juga akan menyertai pertandingann tarian peringkat daerah kota tinggi.
Ini adalah kali pertama sekolah ini menyertai pertandingan seumpamanya.. Dan boleh dikatakan saya bermula dari hampir-hampir scratch. Terdapat 6 orang murid yang mempunyai pengalaman membuat persembahan, tetapi tidak pernah menyertai pertandingan. Bagaimanapun, pertandingan ini memerlukan mereka menari pelbagai jenis tarian.. Jadi, 6 orang murid ni pun belajar semula juga..
Sebelum ni saya tak boleh nak tunjukkan video ini, sebab yalah, belum bertanding kan.. pertandingan tersebut telah dijalankan siang tadi di dewan apa ntah kat bandar penawar. Sayang sekali, selepas lebih sebulan saya pagi dan petang bersama kumpulan ini, pada hari pertandingan saya tidak dapat bersama mereka kerana saya ada kuliah.. Huhu…
Anyway, saya rasa sangat gembira, kerana ini adalah kumpulan pertama yang saya latih – selama ini saya menari hanya untuk diri sendiri. Dan kumpulan kami berjaya mendapat tempat ke-3.
Pertama kali menyertai pertandingan, dan dilatih oleh jurulatih (atau juruletih?) yang juga pertama kali melatih kanak-kanak menari.. Dapat tempat ke-3, kira not bad jugalah kan?
Anyway, kat sini saya kongsikan bahagian zapin daripada set pertandingan tersebut. Yang lainnya akan menyusul kemudian hari ya..
P/S: Ini adalah pada hari terakhir saya melatih mereka sebelum pulang ke maktab. Persembahan pada hari pertandingan akan saya paparkan, sebaik saja saya dapat ambil video daripada guru pengiring.

Tarian Joget Berhibur
Sememangnya saya amat meminati seni persembahan. Jadi, apabila saya diberi peluang untuk melatih kumpulan penari cilik dari sekolah saya untuk persembahan semasa upacara perasmian Sukan Rakyat, saya sangat teruja. Walaupun masa yang diberi seakan-akan boleh menggilakan saya – 3 hari saja – dan segalanya bermula dari scratch, mujurlah kanak-kanak ini memang mempunyai serba sedikit pengalaman menari.
Akhirnya berjaya juga saya mencuba bakat koreografer saya yang tak seberapa ni. Jadi, enjoylah dengan video tarian joget berhibur ini:

Mutiara Motor Beach Resort Has Lots Of Animals
My husband wanted to know where did we go for our Bina Insan Guru (BIG) camp. So, I guided him to the Mutiara Motor Beach Resort.
Frankly, though the chalets looks very nice and beautiful, I wouldn’t know if it is really as nice to stay as what it looks on the outside. Because, we stayed in camps for the 4 days 3 night during the camp. That’s why they called it BIG camp. We really camped.
Fadil (nephew) was very excited when we reached here, because the place has a lots of animals. From the deers, tiger, lion to turtle. The best part was he wanted to be captured on cameras with every animals he could found here. And he ensured that I showed the pictures to his mummy.
He stand next to the tiger, so close that he could touch the neck. Then he asked me why the lion is white? So I asked him back what is the colour of a lion? He said that it supposed to be yellow. So I praised him for being clever, and told him that maybe the lion was wrongly coloured. Is there any white lion?
Then, Fadil wanted me to captured his photo with the turtle. He goes overboard by standing on the turtle. He saw the ikan todak (hey, what do we call this in english?) and said that he wanted to take picture with it. But he was so afraid to go near it, that my husband has to accompanied him.
Before we get back to the car, Fadil insisted to take another picture with the deers. My husband asked the guardian if Fadil could sit on the deer. Guess what? You don’t have to be Santa Claus and delivers the presents for Christmas to ride the deer.
Oopp.. Forgot to tell ya that all the animals are faked. They are made from cemenfero.

Beautiful Scenery At Tanjung Sedili, Kota Tinggi
It’s the Hajj season, and in a few days we will celebrating the Hari Raya Haji. My husband’s cousins were going to do their hajj. Their flight is on 1st December. We went to see them, just before they leave the house for the airport. Lots of relatives were there too including my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and her children.
I haven’t gone anywhere since the holiday, so I thought that I would want to see the school which I’ll be doing my practicum, next year. It’s situated somewhere near Kota Tinggi.. In tanjung sedili, to be exact. Well, I don’t know what I am going to do there, I am sure there’s a lot of stuffs to be done during practicum, that I hope I’ll be as busy as possible so I wouldn’t realize that I might have internet problem there.. 
I am still working on how do I get my internet line there – I don’t see any cybercafes around.
Anyway, one thing I am sure that the place has beautiful sceneries. Near to the jetty, there is one stall selling keropok lekor which claimed were ‘imported’ from Mersing.. Hahaha.. They wrote the word imported there.. I forgot to snap a picture of it.
One of my sister-in-law’s child, Fadil, insists that he wants to follow us for ‘jalan-jalan’. My husband promised him to take him out because there was one time when we only brought his sister to KL. He is only 4 years old and he was very happy to follow us out.

More Beautiful Sceneries In Sedili Besar, Kota Tinggi
From Tanjung Sedili, we headed to Sedili Besar. Trying out the new bridge connecting Tanjung Sedili and Sedili Besar. Previously, we have to use boats to get to Sedili Besar from Tanjung Sedili. Or if you want to reach Sedili Besar by road, you have to come from Mersing. That’s what the locals told me.
After the bridge has been built, there no more boats serviced from Tanjung Sedili to Sedili Besar. I would love to take a ride if there is a boat.
There is a resort in Sedili Besar, the locals said that it’s good – have beautiful sceneries where you can romantically watch the sunset or sunshine. However, when we arrived at the resort, the guard wouldn’t let us in because he said the boss said so. They were filled with bigshots from across the straits, and not interested with some locals like us who droves only small white car.
What to do? We find our way to watched the sea and captured some nice shots from my Motorola V3X.
